The Police chief noted that his relationship with Ogunsan went beyond official engagements, describing him as both a valued security partner and a dear personal friend. “Over time, I have come to know you not merely as the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund and a valued partner in the advancement of security, but as a genuine friend of the Nigeria Police Force and, personally, a dear friend,” Disu wrote.

He highlighted Ogunsan’s warmth, loyalty and willingness to support causes that advance the safety and wellbeing of the public, describing these qualities as attributes he had personally come to appreciate.Disu also singled out Ogunsan’s role as a Patron of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), noting that his involvement reflected a commitment to community policing and stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

I celebrate a man who has remained grounded, purposeful and committed to making a difference. I celebrate a friend whose company, counsel and support I have come to value, and whose friendship I sincerely cherish,” the IGP wrote, adding that he sincerely cherished Ogunsan’s friendship, counsel and support.
