The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has continued its sustained investment to the welfare and operational readiness of security personnel with the donation of raincoats to the Governor’s Monitoring Team (GMT), reinforcing its commitment to ensuring that officers remain equipped to carry out their responsibilities effectively under all weather conditions.
The presentation, made on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, by the Executive Assistant, LSSTF, Ada Nwankwo, reflects the Trust Fund’s strategic support for security and enforcement agencies across Lagos State. The raincoats were received by the Commander of the Governor’s Monitoring Team, CSP Benedict Adewole, alongside officers of the unit, including Inspector Bakare Adeola and SP Samson Okoi.
Speaking during the presentation, the Director of Administration, LSSTF, Mr. Adegbola Lewis reaffirmed the LSSTF’s unwavering commitment to complementing the efforts of security agencies by providing essential operational support that enhances efficiency, preparedness and service delivery.
He noted that equipping personnel with appropriate protective gear is critical to ensuring uninterrupted operations, particularly during the rainy season when officers remain on duty safeguarding public order and supporting government enforcement activities.
The latest donation underscores the LSSTF’s consistent commitment to promoting a safer, more secure and resilient Lagos.
