QNET says it is expanding its digital learning offerings to equip young Africans with practical business and communication skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive marketplace.

Mr Berni Gaksch, Regional Strategy and Marketing Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa made the announcement at its Lagos Product Expo, which drew thousands of young entrepreneurs and prospective distributors.

Gaksch said the growing interest in entrepreneurship among Gen Z highlights the need for accessible, structured learning platforms. He said many young people desire financial independence but often lack the business foundations required to develop ideas, engage clients, or communicate effectively.

“Most people between 18 and 20 want to start something, but they don’t yet have the business sense or confidence to move forward,” he said.

Gaksch said QNET’s digital platform, QLEARN, was created to bridge that gap through courses in presentation skills, digital writing, sales planning and business management.

He added that the platform’s content was sourced from the U.S., UK and other countries to align with global standards. He noted that the platform’s Certified Network Marketer Plus programme helps distributors understand the direct-selling ecosystem beyond QNET, giving them broader industry exposure.

Gaksch also clarified that the Malaysian university owned by QNET’s parent company, QI Group, operated independently, and students apply directly without any recruitment through QNET.

Speaking on some of their wellness technologies, he noted that devices such as the air purification system and Home Pure Nova water filtration system responded to growing concerns about air quality, water safety and general wellbeing among Nigerian households.

The QNET’S Lagos Expo and Workshop recorded about 8,000 attendees reflecting rising youth engagement in digital entrepreneurship tools and lifestyle technologies.
