‘What you know is low compared to what you need’ I heard Bishop David Oyedepo say today in a video. Such a truth and he practically lives that lifestyle of continuous development in his personal life. He mentioned that anytime he wants to start something new, such as the Living Faith Church, WOFBI and Covenant University, he would go ahead to read several books of people who have taken similar feats in times past. This is so that he can learn crucial lessons.
He recalled how he returned from a trip abroad with loads of books and noted that reading is a constant aspect of his daily life. When people ask him how he manages to read daily, he quipped ‘how do you find time to eat. What eating is for you is what reading is to me’, to accentuate that knowledge acquisition is food for the mind. Little wonder why he has achieved tremendously. In fact he stated that ‘if we are not here I would be surprised’.
Dear friend, take up responsibility for your learning. ‘You are 75% responsible for your training’, Bishop David Oyedepo hinted.
