I attend AGMs of public quoted companies and also watch some on TV, one common denominator for me is the large percentage of senior citizens who are present in such events. Is it because they are retired and have so much time on their hands that they attend? Maybe, maybe not!
But what about the fact that it is where your treasure is that your heart will belong? A random person will very likely not be inside such a forum. It must then mean these old people have done some things in the past that would make it necessary, if not crucial, for them to attend an AGM. They invested their salaries, profit, rent, and other income to buy shares of these large organizations.
