
Uplifting Women Through Farming (UWTF), president and founder, Princess Afoma Ojei-Adigwe has congratulated British–Nigerian, Roseline Ogunro on appointment as Mayor of Islington, London. Her appointment is said to have come just a year after Nigerian-born Jason made history as the first Nigerian-born mayor.
In a statement signed by Ojei-Adigwe, shesaid: “My dear big sister and cousin, heartfelt congratulations on your emergence as the new Mayor of Islington, London. Your achievement does not come as a surprise to me because you have consistently distinguished yourself with excellence in all your endeavours. Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to service have truly earned you this remarkable position.“
