Eric Swalwell’s political career is in jeopardy because of this matter. Currently a member of the US House of Representatives, Swalwell is gunning for the gubernatorial position in California State, US.
Until last week, he probably believes that he will coast home to victory but his name is now in the mud. A lady in his office alleged that he sexually harassed her, and that has gone viral. There are calls for him to withdraw from the Governorship race. There are calls for him to vacate his legislative seat. He is in a precarious position.
Even his short video posted on social media likely sounds hollow to several people. It’s her word against his, and she will likely prevail.
