Now that Uncle Aliko has blown the whistle, I will encourage every Nigerian to be a part of this, at the minimum entry level of NGN 5,250. Take your cut of probably the biggest ever investment to come out of Nigeria.
I know you may have heard many financial experts analyzing that its share price may be too expensive and that it is overhyped, but if you are holding long-term, you will eventually benefit plus you can transfer it to the next generation. Consider this a common patrimony as a citizen of Nigeria. If we have complained all our lives, about fuel price and the mismanagement of our God-given blackgold ‘crude oil’, make this an opportunity to be happy for once.
All our big-time billionaires, Otedola, Ovia, Elumelu and I am sure many of our politicians, have already bought into this initiative through another platform – private placement. You, too, take your part through the public offer.
I am not a stock analyst but my mindset is if I use it, I should own it, when the opportunity rises. Maybe we won’t get profit this first year, but I know this will eventually pay, and I am going to buy.
PS: I wrote this inside a bus in Lagos traffic this Monday morning, the driver got PMS at NGN 1,395. Don’t complain, do something.
