The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), Lagos State Chapter has congratulated its Patron, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, on his appointment as the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
The statement signed by Dr. Moses Oladimeji, the Chairman of POCACOV Lagos describes Dr. Ogunsan’s appointment as a testament to patriotic excellence, proven leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the security and development of Lagos State.
Dr. Oladimeji stated: ‘This appointment is not merely a new position; it is the natural and fitting progression for a man whose very name has become synonymous with strategic vision, unimpeachable integrity, and an unwavering commitment to a safer Nigeria’
‘For us at POCACOV, Dr. Ogunsan is more than a colleague, he is our esteemed patron and a core philosophical ally, one who has rendered invaluable support to our mission at critical times,’ Oladimeji said.
Highlighting his previous contributions, Oladimeji noted that Dr. Ogunsan’s tenure as a Member of the LSSTF Board of Trustees helped to shape key reforms within the state’s security architecture.
‘His service, marked by profound loyalty and diligence under the commendable leadership of Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, was pivotal in strengthening Lagos State’s security architecture. He exemplified a rare humility and a strong moral compass that inspired public confidence and galvanized stakeholder collaboration.’
Dr. Oladimeji further emphasized the alignment between Dr. Ogunsan’s passion for youth empowerment and POCACOV’s mission to steer young Nigerians away from crime and social vices.
