MAY THEY WAIT IN VAIN THAT AWAIT YOUR DOWNFALL!

Believe it or not, there are people out there (even in the church) who delight in the misfortune of others. They eagerly long to hear that something bad had happened to you, or anyone they don’t like, for whatever reason. It is evil, devilish and demonic to think like that, or to have such expectations. Some even pray for the day you would desperately need their help (the day you would be in their ‘pampe’/trap) so they can deal with you. Ah! It’s amazing what some people think about o!

I wonder what anyone gains from gossiping about other people, even in churches and house fellowships, where they ought to be worshipping GOD and lifting up one another in prayers and scriptural admonitions. I have heard people speak ill of their pastors, call their spiritual leaders (unjustifiably) all kinds of names, malign their brethren just for the fun of it, and still expect GOD to bless them.  A bunch of clowns and ‘alawadas.’

As a rule, my wife and I do not entertain gossips nor encourage tale bearers; hence, there are some ‘brethren’ we keep at arm’s length, because that’s their area of specialization – professional rumor mongers and ‘amebos’ – the ‘Baba Fakunles’ of every local assembly. JESUS called us to spread the GOOD NEWS, and not rumors, lies, gossip, and ‘latest gists!’

Proverbs 6:16-19 says, “These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A LYING TONGUE, Hands that shed innocent blood, A HEART THAT DEVISES WICKED PLANS, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, and ONE WHO SOWS DISCORD AMONG BRETHREN.” They all come from A HEART THAT DEVISES WICKED PLANS. Cry for a CHANGE of heart if you fall into any of those categories above. It is evil to speak ill of others, especially your Christian Brethren, and most especially when it’s even false! What is your gain?!!!!

Selah!

Have a blessed weekend.
