BISHOP OKE FETES GOFAMINT’s G.O, PST. ABINA AT 90

The National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke, has led the Fellowship in celebrating one of its founding fathers, Trustees and National Advisor, Pastor (Dr) Elijah Oludele Abina, as he marks his 90th birthday.

In a warm congratulatory message released on behalf of the PFN and sighted by this medium, Bishop Oke described Pastor Abina as a pillar of faith, a vessel of integrity, and a true general of the Gospel whose life and ministry have significantly shaped the Nigerian Church.

“We joyfully celebrate and congratulate one of our founding fathers, a Trustee and National Advisor of the Fellowship, Pastor (Dr) Elijah Oludele Abina, on this momentous occasion of his 90th birthday,” the message read.

Bishop Oke emphasized that Pastor Abina’s unwavering faith, godly wisdom, and steadfast commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ continue to inspire countless leaders across generations.

“Your exemplary leadership within the Body of Christ, and particularly in PFN, has left an indelible legacy, one marked by integrity, passion for souls, and an unrelenting pursuit of unity in the Church across Nigeria,” the statement added.

Quoting Psalm 92:14, “They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.”

Bishop Oke acknowledged the continued fruitfulness and relevance of Pastor Abina’s ministry even in his advanced age.

The PFN also offered heartfelt prayers, asking that the Almighty God continue to strengthen the General Overseer of The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT) with divine health, renewed strength, and many more fruitful years in God’s service.

“May His grace overflow in your life, and may your latter years be even more glorious than the former,” Bishop Oke declared.
