The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Kabiru Umar Hassan, fdc, today decorated two senior officers of the Command, DCP Shuaibu Zakari, Commanding Officer, 65 PMF Squadron, Mubi, and DCP Markus Mancha Chuwang, Area Commander, Mubi Area Command, following their promotion by the Police Service Commission.
The press release of the Adamawa Police PRO, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, indicated that the decoration ceremony, which held today 29th July, 2026 at the Police officers Mess, Yola, was witnessed by Senior members of the command management team family members, friends, well-wishers, and senior police officers who gathered to celebrate the officers’ well-deserved promotion.
The CP congratulated the newly promoted officers and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through exemplary leadership, professionalism, and dedication to duty.
Following the decoration ceremony, the Commissioner of Police held a strategic meeting with Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) across the State. The meeting focused on strengthening crime prevention strategies, improving operational efficiency, intelligence-led policing, and enhancing public safety across Adamawa State.
CP Kabir Umar reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to maintaining law and order and urged all officers to remain disciplined, proactive, and responsive in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.
