I am so appreciative of the tons of love and support extended to me on Sunday – World Blood Donation Day. I was blown away by the love, mehn, I am loved and I know it so well.
I am doing awesome, my people. Those pictures were from last year, and it was to bring attention to the need to imbibe the culture of blood donation in our society. There is so much more need for blood than we can imagine. And it can’t be produced in the lab.
That’s why my post on Sunday is more about blood donation than about me. I had the privilege to guest Doctors on Air with Dr. Pamela Ajayi on Classic FM 97.3 Lagos, where I shared my personal experience and centered it around urging Nigerians to embody the spirit of blood donation.
