AKEM FOUNDATION ADDRESSES WIDENING SOCIAL GAP IN SOCIETY – LBSL BOSS, IDOWU OGUNTONA

One of the major problems that the world is faced with today is widening gap of sociopolitical disparity in the community. TheMediaGood Newspaper can report that efforts must be directed to resolve the matter across various populations and countries.

Speaking at the 2nd anniversary of AKEM Foundation on how pertinent the matter should be addressed in Nigeria, the MD/CEO of Lagos Bus Service Limited, Mr. Idowu Oguntona affirmed: ‘There are two problems that the world is faced with now. The problem of climate change and widening gap of social and political disparity.’

‘Looking at this foundation, the Ogunsans wants to reach out to the indigent ones in the society who doesn’t have the opportunity to go through school’, he mentioned in regard to AKEM Foundation.

‘I will always be there and I will support this foundation. How do you want to be remembered when all is said and done? How are we making this world a better place?’

The business leader, Oguntona added: ‘Dr. Ayo Ogunsan is someone that I have only known for three years and it has seemed like forever. I love him for his values. For a lot of us, when it is time for our birthday, we just merry but for him, he uses his birthday to thank God. I have made a commitment to be there whenever he is doing anything.’

The 2nd anniversary of AKEM Foundation held at the Civic centre, Victoria Island in Lagos had in attendance the Assistant Inspector-General, AIG Community Policing, AIG Ari Mohammed Ali; AIG Sikiru Bankole (retd); Wife of the Lagos CP, Dr. Mrs. Adekemi Fayoade.
