Imo Police Command Enhance Security Measures To Sustain Peace, Combat Violent Crimes

As part of his continuous proactive moves to ‎sustain security, the Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Audu Garba Bosso has further strengthened security measures across the state to enhance public safety and ensure maintenance of law and order, TheMediaGood Newspaper gathered.

The press statement of the Command’s PPRO, DSP Okoye Henry stated that, “‎In a strategic move to sustain the improved peace and security in the State, the Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Audu Garba Bosso in line with the directives of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu has strengthened security measures across the State to enhance public safety and maintain law and order.”

According to the statement, “The Command has implemented enhanced security measures to curb the activities of the proscribed IPOB/ESN, kidnappers, and other violent criminals, ensuring visible police presence, prompt responses to incidents, and proactive monitoring of public spaces to maintain order.”

“‎The Command will continue engagement with communities, youth groups, traditional leaders, and religious organizations to strengthen trust, encourage information sharing, and promote collective responsibility for security.”

‎‎”The Commissioner of Police calls on residents to remain vigilant, law-abiding, and to continue cooperating with security agencies by providing timely and credible information.”

‎‎”The Command reassures the good people of Imo State of its unwavering commitment to sustaining the prevailing peace. Residents are urged to report any suspicious activities or persons to the nearest Police Station or via the designated emergency lines: 0814 802 4755, 0803 477 3600.”
