Another record is in the making for Nigeria. This is as chess maestro, Tunde Onakoya today began his quest to set a new Guinness World Record for playing chess for 58 hours without a loss at Times Square, New York, USA.
The Founder of Chess in Slums Africa, Mr. Onakoya uses his skill and initiative to inspire young people from African slums to stardom as well as bring stardom to experience Africa. French footballer, Patrice Evra among others have visited Africa due to Tunde’s passion.
If Tunde achieve this feat, he will join many other Nigerians such as writer, Bayode Treasures Olawunmi, athlete Blessing Okagbare, dancer Kaffy Shafau, chef Hilda Baci on the Guinness World Record list.
