THE WORLD NEEDS MORE COMFORTERS AND NOURISHERS!

Michael was only 5 years old when his mother became pregnant again. Right from the time his mom’s belly began to bulge, Michael would come near her, put his mouth close to the tummy, and sing, “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray. You’ll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don’t take my sunshine away.” He kept singing that song to her baby sister in the womb. When the time came for the baby to be delivered, there were complications that necessitated putting her in an incubator, with very little chance of surviving.

When Michael and his father came to check the baby, and saw the state she was in, he asked his mother if he could sing his favorite song to the baby. As he started singing, the lifeless infant began to move, as if responding to her brother’s voice, and she really was. The baby got well, and was soon allowed to go home with her mother.

You can be someone’s sunshine, comforter or nourisher. Be a BLESSING, a lifeline to someone out there. NIGERIA, and indeed the world, shall be a better place with nourishers like Michael.

Who/what are you nourishing?!
