STRONGER BUSINESS TIES TO BE ENACTED AS 10TH AGROFOOD NIGERIA EXPO HOLDS IN LAGOS

The upcoming 10th edition of agrofood & plastprintpack Nigeria will feature high-profile diplomatic participation from Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands, aimed at strengthening trade and industrial relations in Nigeria’s agrofood, plastics, printing, and packaging sectors.

Confirmed attendees include Michal Cygan, Ambassador Designate of Poland; Weert Börner, Consul General of Germany; Michel Deelen, Consul General of the Netherlands; Ambassador V. Bryl of Belarus; and Sebo Lenyai, Consul General of South Africa. Their presence underscores a shared commitment to boosting trade, investment, and industrial cooperation with Nigeria.

Scheduled from March 25 to 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, the exhibition will host participants from 12 countries, including China, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, and Türkiye. It will provide a platform for industry leaders, investors, policymakers, and manufacturers to discuss trends, challenges, and innovations in the agrofood and allied sectors.

Paul Maerz, Managing Director of fairtrade Messe, emphasized the significance of the diplomatic participation, stating, “agrofood & plastprintpack Nigeria has become an essential platform for fostering partnerships that drive economic growth. The presence of these respected diplomats highlights Nigeria’s role as a strategic trade and investment hub in Africa.”

With the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) as an institutional partner, the event aims to enhance Nigeria’s manufacturing potential and promote collaborative opportunities between global investors and local businesses.
