The Board member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr Ayo Ogunsan today 2nd of July joined friends, family, and associates of revered academic and clergyman, Prof. Tunde Ope-Davies as he attains the milestone 60th birthday.

Eulogizing the founding director and principal investigator at the Centre for Digital Humanities, University of Lagos (CEDHUL), Dr. Ogunsan penned: ‘Our God is good and greatly to be praised in your life, ministry, and family, dear Sir Ope-Davies. Your life is a testament to the goodness of God, the word of faith, and dedication to the service of humanity.’

‘On the pulpit, in the classroom, in the boardroom, you have touched the lives of youths and the old with your rich, inspirational, and Godly teachings and sermons. You have matched leadership in God’s vineyard with excellence in education and public service. You have fostered national and international collaboration which has broadened the scope of meaningful discourse around culture and civilization’, Ogunsan noted about the Professor of English, Digital Cultures and Discourse Studies.

‘I celebrate you dear big brother, pastor, and friend. Thank you for always showing up for me and my family. You have taught us, in words and in deeds, unwavering commitment to God and humanity.’
