The President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Pres. Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR today led a throng of attendees to the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja with the Arusa 1 title.

The grand coronation which was hosted at Mapo Hall followed the rituals held at the Ose Meji Temple and Afobaje Labosinde. During the event, the chief host and Governor of Oyo State, Gov. Seyi Makinde presented the staff of office to the 44th Royal of the ancient city of Ibadan.
The coronation ceremony which heralded the enthronement of the former Oyo State Governor and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Adewolu Ladoja underscores the merit-based chieftaincy system in Ibadan.
