
The man at the frontline of the advocacy initiative of the Nigeria Police against cultism, Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) in Lagos, Mr. Moses Oladimeji has gotten a new feather to his honor’s list. This is the honorary doctorate degree from the Prowess University, Delaware, USA. The Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) is in Educational Leadership and Management.
The Lagos POCACOV Chairman, Moses Oladimeji was decorated with the honor at a colorful event which was held in the UNILAG premises on Saturday 5th April 2025. ‘This is principally aimed at recognizing those who have contributed in no small measure towards the growth of African Transformational Economy,’ the Awards selection committee of the Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies (IAMPS) affiliated to the university highlighted.
The letter signed by Chairman of the Awards selection committee, Prof. Chidi Justice added: ‘Your nomination hinged on your demonstration of integrity, priority, accountability, and transparency in Quality Service Delivery in Private and Public life.’
‘No doubt, you have been singled out as a proponent of Peace, Security, Transparency and Accountability; Humanitarianism, and Transformational Public/Educational Leadership, a firm believer of selfless service to humanity. You have been identified by our investigative team and confirmed by opinion molders across the country as a beacon of hope to the underprivileged in society.”It is at the backdrop of all these, that your nomination was made and endorsed unanimously by the Advisory Board Members of IAMPS and the Award Selections Committee headed by Professor Chidi Justice an experienced University Don.’
The Institute has international accreditations and recognitions such as: International Standard Organization (ISO), Euro American Joint Accreditation Services (EAJAS), Recognition Accreditation and Charter Council (RACC), World Safety Organization (WSO), Chartered Institute of Arts Management & Professionals, USA (CIAP) and The National Association of Public Health Practitioners Council of Nigeria (NAPHPCN).
Receiving the Doctorate degree, Dr. Moses Oladimeji expressed his gratitude to the university and the IAMPS Awards selection committee for deeming him fit for the rare honor. ‘This is placing me on a higher pedestal of responsibility in society. It is a great responsibility to wear the Doctoral honor. I will demonstrate the sense of duty and commitment which is required of this honor.’
