In response to my piece, ‘A Little Effort Can Make A Major Difference’, yesterday, a dear brother sent this to me, “True sir. I remember giving a street neighbor #10.00. I had actually bought 7Up for the guys around me and he happened to be among them, only for him to corner me and request if it would be possible I convert the drink to money. I did, and he left immediately (that was 1998).
Sir, he and I later became friends. When I visited him, he introduced me to his parents as “the guy I told you gave me that money.” I was confused. The parents, being Yoruba, began to pray for me. They made me know the ‘Good Deed’ I did that day. The #10.00 was used to buy kerosene, as they had not eaten in the house since morning (I gave him the money around 6pm), since there was no kerosene to cook the rice that was in the house. I was so happy I made that impact.
The baffling thing was, two years later, I found myself living with them for good four years after I had a financial challenge and could not pay my house rent. I lived with them, eating free food for those years. Sir, a helping hand today could be a ‘receiver of life’ tomorrow. Thank you sir.”
Life is a table that keeps turning. The seeds you sow today could be your lifesaving FRUITS tomorrow. My life and Isaiah 50:4&5 Ministry are living TESTIMONIES of this TRUTH. Be a Giver, a Blesser, an Encourager, and Motivator. You and your household will reap the bountiful rewards in days to come. The Bible says, “Do not be deceived, GOD is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” – Galatians 6:7.
SHALOM.
