NNPC/OANDO Scholarships Open for Undergrads | See How to Apply

The NNPC/OANDO Joint Venture Tertiary Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2026/2027 academic cycle. This initiative is a collaboration between NNPC Limited and Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, offered under their Corporate Social Responsibility program to support and advance tertiary education in Nigeria.

There are two categories of scholarships under the NNPC/OANDO Joint Venture scheme.

The first category is the Host/Transit Communities Merit Award which is reserved solely for applicants from OANDO Host/Transit Communities. They must be indigenes of OANDO Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States

The second category is the National Merit Award which is open to applicants outside Host/Transit Communities. The National Merit Award is limited to students studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Sciences.

To be eligible, you must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate in a Nigerian tertiary institution and currently in 100 level at the time of application.

Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to take an aptitude test which will be conducted online. Aminimum score of 50% is required to remain under consideration.

Before applying, prepare clearly scanned copies of the following documents:

– Recent passport photograph (white background, taken within the last 6 months — 450×450px, max 200KB)

– School ID Card

– O-Level Certificate

– Admission Letter

– Birth Certificate

– Proof of Local Government Area of Origin

– Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (Host Communities Merit Award applicants only)

– Letter from CDC Chairman (Host Communities Merit Award applicants only)

– JAMB Result

– Compliance Form (available for download on the application portal)

Before submitting, Name each document clearly to avoid upload errors; Attach documents to the correct fields during upload; and Provide a valid email address and phone number for correspondence.
