The Chairman of the National Tax Policy Implementation Committee (NTPIC), Joseph Tegbe has pledged a “humane” and transparent rollout of the Federal Government’s new tax laws. He also hinted that the capital gains tax may be reviewed before the commencement date of 1st of January for the tax laws.
Noting that the new tax laws are central to the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms, Tegbe said: ‘We want to reassure Nigerians and investors that implementation of this act will be fair, will be transparent, and we will do it with a human face.’
