Just before last year ended, I heard a very inspiring testimony. At the watchnight service, I had the opportunity to confirm the details from the owner of the testimony, even though she didn’t testify that night.
Here’s her story…
She had gone to cater at a party, last October (I believe), and while at it, there was an announcement that a car was blocking someone who needed to leave. It just so happened that her car was the ‘culprit!’ Because she was busy serving dishes, someone (a friend) offered to go and help her repark, but she declined, saying, “Thank you, but, no thanks! I’m the only one who can move that car!” ‘Na only me sabi hin hand’ kind of thing
They laughed about it, she went to move her car, and returned to continue with her work. A friend she had not seen in a long while was at the party, and had heard what she said about her car. Like play like play, the friend asked her what kind of vehicle she would like to replace the old one with. She mentioned a particular Space Bus, stating that it would make her catering job a whole lot easier. Stylishly, the friend asked her for her favourite color, and how she writes her full name. And, that was it!
Few weeks later, she got a call that someone was delivering a ‘parcel’ to her, and she should meet the ‘courier’ at a particular place. She got there, only to be given the keys to her dream vehicle – the Space Bus she had mentioned, in the color she would have wanted it. It came in November.
My PRAYER for you is, “MAY THERE BE MANY PLEASANT SURPRISES FOR YOU IN THIS NEW YEAR – SURPRISES FROM ABOVE, FROM ABROAD AND FROM ALL AROUND, IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!” If you believe it, shout “AMEN!”
