As the new year begins, media entrepreneur, Oluwamayowa Ajibola has released a heartfelt New Year message celebrating leadership and collective growth, with a special tribute to his mentor, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, and a rallying call to members of the Young Executives Forum.

In his appreciation, Ajibola described the LSSTF boss, Dr. Ogunsan as “a man whose leadership and mentorship have deeply shaped my journey,” adding that “beyond titles and responsibilities, you embody wisdom, humility, integrity, and godliness.”

He emphasized that his mentor’s influence goes far beyond position, noting, “You have shown me that true greatness lies not just in position, but in purpose and the lives we uplift.”

Reflecting on moments of difficulty, Ajibola acknowledged the stabilizing role of mentorship in his growth.

“In seasons of uncertainty, you stood as guide and covering, ensuring that I did not drown,” he said, crediting the mentorship of Dr. Ogunsan for “access, opportunity, and visibility” that he continues to enjoy.

He further praised Dr. Ogunsan’s example, stating, “I am continually inspired by how you carry influence with humility, authority with reverence for God, and leadership with integrity.”

As the year opens, Ajibola reaffirmed his commitment: “As your mentee, I enter this New Year with gratitude and renewed commitment. I honour your life, leadership, and legacy, and I reaffirm my loyalty, respect, and promise to always represent you well.”

Extending the message to the wider Young Executives Forum that Dr. Ogunsan graciously leads, Ajibola highlighted that members are “privileged to be part of a community built on vision, discipline, excellence, and character.”

He encouraged perseverance and values-driven leadership. “Let us keep building. Let us keep pushing, growth is intentional, leadership is learned, and success is achieved through consistency and integrity.”
