There’s a scripture in Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 that you must pray to happen in your favour. It says, “I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all. For man also does not know his time: like fish taken in a cruel net, like birds caught in a snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.” May TIME and CHANCE favour you, and may you know your TIME and SEASON, in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Amen.
That’s simply what happened to ‘Baby Shark’ and ‘Gangnam Style.’
BABY SHARK
The song first surfaced in 2007, and was uploaded to YouTube in 2011, five years before South Korea-based educational content producer, Pinkfong, released the song’s most viewed version in 2016. On 13th January 2022, Pinkfong tweeted about making history. The Baby Shark dance video became the first video in history to mark the 10 billion views milestone on YouTube. Making it one of the most viewed, most popular and consumed videos globally. It is believed that ‘Camp counselors potentially created Baby Shark’ during a summer camp as a chant and campfire song.
Why is Baby Shark so popular?
Well, it is scientifically proven to be catchy! The song’s simple melody makes it easy to remember and sing. Another reason the song is so popular is because of the limited words and characters in the song, thus, making it easier for children across ages to understand. According to a neuroscientific consultant, it is believed that children, and adults, who move to upbeat music have increased dopamine levels, making them feel happy. Baby Shark is a big hit with children, and their parents.

Simple song, incredible success!
Truly, it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of GOD Who shows mercy – (Romans 9:16). May GOD show you mercy, mixed with unusual favour, this weekend, in JESUS MIGHTY NAME.
SHALOM.
