To improve the outlook of Police officers, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) made a generous donation of uniform materials to the Rapid Response Squad. This is to demonstrate it’s commitment that the security funding agency is not just created to look after nonliving aspects of security but also pay huge premium to the real people who are involved in the security of lives and properties.
The LSSTF made the donation yesterday when it received members of the Rapid Response Squad at the head office in Ikeja, Lagos.
The LSSTF Director of Administration Mr. Degbola Lewis led the presentation ceremony as he handed the items to ASP Oladele Ajayi who received the rolls of Police Uniform on behalf of the RRS Commander, RRS, CSP Shola Jejeloye.
Also present at the presentation are Mr. Olumide Aladesida – Monitor One Officer, Rapid Response Squad (RRS) and other younger officers.
The RRS team thanked the Lagos State Government, the LSSTF Board, leadership, and staff for always providing adequate care which enables them to go all out in their task of maintaining internal safety and security in Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre, Lagos. They reassured Lagosians that they will not rest on their oars as the Lagos ‘good guys’
