LSSTF CEO Ogunsan Urges Sacrifice at Easter, Calls Nigerians to Support the ‘Guardians of Peace’ and their families

The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in Lagos State and across Nigeria, calling for reflection on the profound sacrifice of Jesus Christ and renewed commitment to service, compassion, and nation-building.

In his Easter message, Dr. Ogunsan emphasized that ‘the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ remains the ultimate symbol of sacrifice, love, and redemption for humanity’. He urged Nigerians to embody these virtues by supporting one another, especially the vulnerable and less privileged in society.

He noted: ‘Easter is a time of sacrifice and giving. As we celebrate, let us extend love to the needy, support our security personnel, and contribute meaningfully to a safer society.’

The LSSTF boss, Ogunsan paid glowing tribute to security operatives working tirelessly across Lagos and Nigeria, noting that their daily sacrifices often go unnoticed. He described them as ‘guardians of peace who risk their lives to ensure the safety of citizens and the stability of the nation.’

He called on Nigerians to celebrate these officers not just in words but through actions, such as supporting the welfare of the officers and their families, showing appreciation to them, and fostering cooperation with security agencies.

He further encouraged Lagosians to contribute to security development by making retail donations to the LSSTF, stressing that the public-private partnership remains vital in sustaining Lagos’ security architecture.
