The Chairman of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), Hon. Justice Bola Okikiolu-Ighile (rtd) has commended and celebrated the duo of Mr. Adeniyi Jubril Ogunfemi and Mrs. Rufiat Anike Kareem, who distinguished themselves through exceptional service, dedication to work, professionalism, and commitment to duty, as they were recognized as LASIEC Outstanding Staff of the Year 2025.
The duo were part of the outstanding Public Servants rewarded by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
She praised the award recipients for their unwavering service, integrity, and contributions to the success of the Commission’s activities and mandate, particularly in strengthening electoral administration and public confidence in the democratic process in the State.
The Chairman noted that the recognition was part of LASIEC’s ongoing efforts to promote excellence, accountability, and motivation among her workforce for effective service delivery, adding that the outstanding performance of the awardees reflects the Commission’s core values of transparency and inclusiveness.
She reaffirmed LASIEC’s commitment to rewarding hard work and professionalism in the service of democracy. She also renewed her call for sustained excellence across all departments of the Commission.
