The Lagos Metropolitan Area Authority (LAMATA) has announced its extension of its rail travel time and work schedule on Friday 5th December from 9.30pm to 11.43pm to accommodate the surge of travelers for the world’s biggest Gospel music festival, The Experience Lagos, which would take place at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island on the same day.
In the same vein, the Agency also stated that it would resume work earlier than usual the next day, Saturday 6th December to allow for the return trips of people who have attended the Gospel music festival. The trains would start working from 4.00am.

Commuters are charged to use their Cowry cards and maintain all guidelines while using the Blue and Red Line trains.
