The Deputy Majority Leader at the Lagos State House of Assembly and lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2, Hon. (Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu today 21st January 2025 penned his appreciation to the Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda on his reappointment to the office of Deputy Majority Leader in the Lagos House of Assembly.
Fondly called ‘Hon. ARK’, the lawmaker wrote: ‘As they say, ‘Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of kindness wherever you are, whenever you are’.
Sequel to my re-appointment as the Deputy Majority Leader of the most prestigious House of Assembly in Africa, the Lagos State House of Assembly, on Friday 17th January 2025, I want to seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to God Almighty, the ultimate king maker, defender and promoter Himself, for his kindness and grace towards me and our Constituency. As the Holy Scripture says in Psalm 124: 1 ‘If it had not been the Lord who was on our side….” To Him be all the glory for being on our side.
Let me also quickly appreciate the Governor of Lagos State, our hardworking Mr. Projects; Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his indefatigable Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, your leadership acumen in our state is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sirs!
Permit me to also give a well-deserved special bouquet of gratitude to the wonderful woman of destiny, the history maker of our time, our very own Madam Speaker, and my very good sister, Rt. Hon. Princess Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, I am exceedingly thankful for your courage, support, and solidarity. God bless you more. To all my distinguished Honorable colleagues of the 10th Assembly, I can’t thank you enough. I appreciate each and every one of you for your nobility, selflessness, and gallantry. I appreciate your understanding, show of comradeship, and support, and I won’t take it for granted. God bless you all.
