
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede yesterday Wednesday 25th March 2026. This is a part of his ongoing strategic engagements with key stakeholders in Nigeria’s security architecture. He had previously met with the Service Chiefs of the three arms of the Armed Forces at various times.



The high-level meetings focused on strengthening inter-agency collaboration, enhancing intelligence sharing, and reinforcing joint operational frameworks to address prevailing security challenges across the country.
IGP Disu stressed the need for sustained synergy between the Armed Forces and the Nigeria Police Force in maintaining internal security, safeguarding lives and property, and ensuring national stability.
