But for my Pastor who keeps ‘restraining’ me, like Elijah, I would have called down FIRE on our political leaders in NIGERIA; and I know that many of you are absolutely with me on that. No be so?! What kind of leadership callously denies the citizens access to LIGHT, among many other deprivations?!!!
Who/whatever takes LIGHT from you, wants you dead! That’s the truth.We moved to our new home last December, but it wasn’t until about 6 months later that we got to know the switches that control the security lights around the house. Why?! Erratic power supply! Why bother ourselves with that knowledge when there was little or no supply of power in the first place!
It wasn’t until around May/June, this year, that electricity supply got better that we tried out the switches and found out what controls what. And, with the solar panels and inverter system in place, we have more or less ruled out NEPA (or whatever they call themselves now) from our light equation. And, the MAJOR blame goes to the Federal Government, for their asinine decisions (over the past 40 years) and legendary unbridled corruption/mismanagement of the nation’s resources. ‘O ma se o!’
I just like to see a lit bulb. I like to hear the humming of the refrigerator. It excites me to hear the buzzing sound of radio and television as I drive into the neighborhood. Every sign of LIGHT gladdens my heart, and the lack of it dampens morale – sometimes inhibiting creativity.
Triple A, please, let me call fire down on this wicked leadership, or permit me to decree that they start barking like dogs! ‘E jor sir!’
I LOVE LIGHT! It brightens my world and enlivens my thoughts. Light is GOOD! Consider Ecclesiastes 11:7, “Truly the LIGHT is sweet, and it is pleasant for the eyes to behold the sun;”See what I mean!
May the Lord GOD cause LIGHT to arise in every dark area of your life, family and work, in Jesus Name.
