Yesterday, December 25th, made it exactly 5 years I embarked on the journey of feeding the mentally challenged on the streets of Ibadan.
On that same day, 2019, I had heard in my spirit, “Feed them” as we drove home from church, after the Christmas Service. We got home, cooked some jollof rice, took some soft drinks, and drove round the streets (Mokola and Dugbe), and gave out some 5 to 6 food packs that day.
As I drove on, one of the recipients hollered to us, “MERRY CHRISTMAS!” Both he and I will probably never forget that experience.
That obedience of 5 years ago became a weekly distribution, that eventually lead to the registration of an NGO in May of this year, called RIGHT MINDS FOUNDATION.
This December, we doggedly decided to do a 31-day Feeding Outreach to the mentally challenged and destitutes on the streets of Ibadan. This is Day 26 – every day, taking food packs out. It’s been tasking, but fulfilling. Won’t you PARTNER with us?!
We Pray, and Hope, that every mentally challenged person in this city, and country, shall someday, soon, be restored to their RIGHT MINDS, like that mad man of Gadara (Mark 5:1-20). What GOD cannot do does not exist o! HE has been GOOD and GRACIOUS to us. Hallelujah!
In conclusion, know this, “The only things you keep are the things you are willing to GIVE away. So hold things lightly. You’re not meant to keep everything you get. Everything that comes to you is not yours to keep o. For what some of us earn, monthly, nobody should be hungry around us. Be a BLESSING to others. Be a GIVER!”

That’s what Boxing Day is all about.
Thank you.
SHALOM.
