
The Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has commended the leadership and personnel of agencies under the Ministry for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to improving service delivery to Nigerians.
Speaking at the conclusion of a three-day strategic engagement with heads of agencies and senior officials, the Minister described the Ministry of Interior as a united family working toward a common goal – protecting Nigerians and strengthening national institutions.
“Our mantra in the Ministry of Interior is one for all, all for one. We must support one another and ensure that we deliver results for Nigerians,” the Minister said.
The Minister also signed the 2026 Performance Bonds with the heads of agencies, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to accountability, measurable outcomes, and improved service delivery across all its agencies.
He praised the progress recorded across agencies, including improved border management, faster emergency response by the Federal Fire Service, enhanced protection of critical national assets by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and reforms within the Nigerian Correctional Service.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Minister urged all agencies to remain focused and undistracted by political activities, emphasizing the importance of continued dedication to duty and service to Nigerians.
“A new Nigeria is possible, achievable, and attainable. Together, through dedication and collaboration, we can make that vision a reality,” the Minister stated.
