FMCG BRAND, MAMUDA GROUP TO INVEST ‘MILESTONE’ US$50 MILLION IN OGUN STATE, VISITS GOV. ABIODUN

In its avowed commitment to establish dominance over the Nigerian market, manufacturing giant, Mamuda Group is set to begin operations in Ogun State. The Group has vast business interests in confectionery, beverages, agro-sack production, leather exports, personal care, among others.

TheMediaGood Newspaper can report that the FMCG brand, Mamuda Group, today visited the Governor of Ogun State, Gov. Dapo Abiodun to register its intention to site a manufacturing plant. With prime manufacturing operations situated in Kano State and vast warehousing spread across Lagos and other Nigerian cities, Mamuda Group is spurred to do more.

Excited to receive the Mamuda Group delegation led by Mr. Hammoud, Gov. Abiodun stated: ‘We are proud to welcome a US$50 million investment by Mamuda Group Nigeria Limited through its subsidiary, Mamuda Beverages, into Ogun State.’

‘This project, set to begin with the foundation laying next month, marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to make Ogun the top destination for industrial growth in Nigeria. The investment will unfold in phases, eventually including operations in food, personal care, and agro-processing’, the Governor revealed.

It is noteworthy that the conglomerate, Mamuda Group currently employs over 13,000 people. This could potentially increase with another 1,500 and may grow further to 3000 when the project in Ogun State, the industrial capital of Nigeria, is in full swing.
