The FIFA Council has approved a record-breaking 2026 World Cup financial contribution of $727m, 50% more than Qatar.

TheMediaGood Newspaper can report that the largesse will be distributed to Participating Member Associations (PMAs) and all all Participating Member Associations are guaranteed to amass at least $10.5m each.
Further, the world football governing body, FIFA added that the sum of $655m will be put towards prize money. The order of payment is thus:
Champions: $50m
Runners-up: $33m
3rd place: $29m
4th place: $27m
5th-8th place: $19m
9th-16th place: $15m
17th- 32nd place: $11m
33rd-48th place: $9m
In addition, each qualified team will receive $1.5m to cover preparation costs.
