The Federal Executive Council (FEC) kicked off today Thursday 11th July 2024 by swearing in eight new permanent secretaries and celebrating President Bola Tinubu’s re-election as ECOWAS chairman.

Procurement Overhaul
The FEC tackled outdated contract augmentations, urging the Attorney-General to update the 2007 Procurement Act. Ministries must now align project costs with budgets, with extra funding cleared by the Ministers of Budget and Finance.

3. Oil and Gas Audit: PE Energy Limited to conduct a 180-day audit of upstream measurement equipment.
4. Pre-Field Studies: P-Lyne Energy Limited to complete 180-day pre-field development studies.
5. SUV Supply: Elizade Nigeria Limited to supply 21 SUVs to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.
6. Substation Connectors: Maglous Enterprises Limited to provide connectors for the Transmission Company of Nigeria.
