As part of efforts to check insecurity in the Federal Capital Territory, the Honourable Minister of FCT Abuja, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has presented 50 operational vehicles and communication gadgets to security agencies in the FCT.
Barrister Wike made the presentation in Abuja during a ceremony on Friday, 5th July 2024, TheMediaGood Newspaper can report. The ceremony was attended by the heads of the various security agencies including the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police, NSCDC and others in the nation’s capital.
Meanwhile, the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC FCT Command, Commandant Olusola Odumosu has commended the gesture of the FCT Minister in a brief statement.
Odumosu stated, “To the Glory of God, the NSCDC FCT Command received 8 brand new operational vehicles from the Hon Min of FCT, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Wike, on Friday 5th July, 2004. Thank you for your support always.”
