In a perfect blend of Valentine warmth and anniversary pride, Executive Hotel and Suites on Saturday 14th February hosted an unforgettable evening tagged “Celebrating One Year of Luxury, Love and Fine Dining”, a celebration as colorful and beautiful as the season itself.
Guests who had patronized the hotel in its first 365 days were welcomed to an elegant three-course buffet, the ambience infused with soft music, curated lighting and a sense of shared accomplishment. The event was more than a milestone; it was a testament to consistency, excellence and the human touch that has shaped the hotel’s remarkable first year.

The address by the Managing Director/CEO, Dr Ajoke Ogunsan, whose leadership has steered the hotel’s steady rise. “I want to thank all our esteemed guests who have patronized us for the past 365 days,” she began.
“It is the first year of our efficient and professional operations, and your support has made our foray into the hospitality sector an inspiring success. Launching a new enterprise is no mean feat, especially in a competitive sector such as ours.”
She emphasized the distinctive niche the hotel has carved: “We have created a space for professional and luxurious hospitality services here at Executive Hotel and Suites. This remains our driving force.”With warmth befitting Valentine’s Day, she added: “Thank you for your amazing reviews and referrals. We hope our partnership and beneficial business relationships will continue to spur sustainable success for all of us.”

The evening’s cascade of tributes began with glowing admiration from everyone gathered at the event.
CSP Solomon Komolafe praised the hotel’s unwavering standards. “It is a fantastic place,” he said with conviction. “A place of excellence. The hospitality is superb, the staff are excellent, and the ambience is amazing. The hotel business will continue to flourish.”
For Mr Joshua Adeniyi and his wife, Mrs Joshua Adeniyi, the journey to the hotel tells its own story of reputation. “Something synonymous with Executive Hotel and Suites is excellence. There is consistency in the recipe. Keep up the excellence” Mrs. Adeniyi said.
Mr. Adeniyi went further to express what many guests echoed, that is, hope for growth. “What we need now is expansion. A bigger hall, a swimming pool. People leave the airport and drive through Ikeja, even GRA, to come all the way here. What they see is excellence.”
He highlighted something more personal, an attribute which he said distinguishes the hotel in a crowded hospitality sector: “One thing that stands out is that the founders are truly invested in this business. You can see it in how the staff carry the business. They are always smiling. There was an SSA to the President I wanted to lodge here. The GM told me most rooms were booked for the night and I was happy about that. The SSA who eventually stayed here had very great feedback about his experience.”
Another touching moment came from Mr Ajayi and Mrs Ajayi, the first couple to ever celebrate their wedding at the hotel. Their testimonial carried the weight of nostalgia and gratitude.
“When we were about to get married, it was as if God prepared this place for us,” Mr. Ajayi said emotionally. “From the first time my friend and I walked in, I wondered if something good could come out of this environment. I was born and brought up here, but this place is exceptional. Thank you.”
A highlight of the evening is the special gift package from the hotel to its esteemed guests. There was a raffle draw to pick a lucky family to spend an all-expense-paid night in the facility. The Ajayis as well as three other couples were pleasantly surprised during the event with a free one-night lodging gift, drawing cheers and applause. The atmosphere grew even more interesting when guests collectively presented a surprise monetary reward to hotel staff, a gesture that visibly moved the team.
Responding on behalf of the staff, the hotel’s General Manager, Mr Adekunle Adebayo, expressed heartfelt appreciation. “We have the best bosses in the world, and today we have seen that we have attracted the best clients in the world.” “Thank you for the honor and the reward you have given us today. We are very grateful. Our one commitment is that we will continue to get better. We will not let you down,” he said.
