The presentation to the Port Authority Police Command capped a week of sustained support by the LSSTF to multiple security and safety institutions across the state.

Earlier in the week, the Fund donated an operational vehicle to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Airport Command. The vehicle, presented by the Director of Administration, LSSTF, Mr. Degbola Lewis, was received by the Commander of the NDLEA Airport Command, CN Akinleye Oluwafunmilayo Peter, to boost anti-narcotics operations and surveillance at Lagos airports.

LSSTF also presented an operational vehicle to the Nigeria Police Mobile Force, MOPOL 49, the paramilitary and rapid response unit of the Nigeria Police Force responsible for managing public disorder, counter-terrorism, anti-robbery operations, and the protection of critical economic installations. The vehicle was received by the Commanding Officer, ACP Oladunni Ayoola, MFR, who presented a souvenir in appreciation of the Fund’s consistent support.

Further, the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos, received six operational vehicles to strengthen its capacity for swift crime response and patrol coverage.

For its collaborative approach to security and safety, LSSTF donated vehicles to the Lagos State Safety Commission and the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Lagos State.
