Today’s own is not different.’
On the Federal Government support, he said: ‘We brought in equipment supported by the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and you know that this is his LGA. So the best is to provide service to the grassroots. He can’t come down here but I am representing him here. That is why you see the items here are what a senatorial district will do. We thank God for what we have done.’
Faleke then urged beneficiaries to maximize all the equipment. ‘We have provided source of employment and empowerment. We expect them not to sell but to use it, they can learn how to use it or they can engage people who can use it but they should not sell it.’
The Chairman of APC Lagos, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi who was present at the event told TheMediaGood Newspaper, ‘This is not the first time that Hon. This is all that is expected of a progressive government – making people happy and putting smiles on their faces. I want to thank Hon. Faleke for doing this.’
‘If you look at all those people representing Lagos, you will see that they are doing well. Is it Jimi Benson, Ademorin Kuye, Faleke or the past Speaker, you will see that APC is producing good ambassadors to represent Lagos state at the National Assembly. Every nook and cranny of Lagos state, you can see the dividend of democracy we have brought to bear – roads, schools, hospitals, we are getting the benefit if being at the central level’, Ojelabi hinted.
One of the traditional rulers who got the 3 SUVs, Oba Akeem Agbaosi, Alaguda of Aguda-Ikeja remarked about Faleke, ‘He started doing this kind of thing since he was a LGA Chairman and he didn’t leave it till date.
