COMMUNITY SUPPORT ‘ENHANCES THE JOB OF THE POLICE’ – LAGOS CP, FAYOADE * Commends Hon. Faleke, CSP Opadola, Ojodu community for grand projects in Ojodu police division

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State Police Command, CP Adegoke Fayoade has reiterated the importance of community support to the success story of the Nigeria Police Force. He made this known during the commissioning ceremony of some projects in Ojodu police division. The projects include Conference Hall, PCRC building, flooring of the entire compound, 1 ambulance for the community, and provision of 20 kVA generator.

Hailing the entire Ojodu community and urging them to do more, CP Fayoade said: ‘The community should not relent in their support for the police. It enhances the job of the Police, it makes our job seamless and our performance is improved upon which will good effect on members of the community. Once crime is low, business activities will thrive and standard of living will improve.’

CP Adegoke Fayoade also used the opportunity to hail the gallant officer, CSP Elizabeth Opadola. ‘Today is a big day, a memorable day because I didn’t think I will see this kind of big project in the short tenure of the DPO who spent barely 3 months since March. She has used her influence to get the project done. I commend her for this great job.’

Present at the commissioning ceremony are the Member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke; the Lagos CP, Adegoke Fayoade; the Ojodu LCDA Chairman, Hon. David Odunmbaku; the DPO of Ojodu division, CSP Elizabeth Opadola; Ojodu community leader, Alhaji Sanni; Ojodu PCRC Chairman, Elder Samuel Akande; traditional rulers, union leaders, and so on.

Thanking her boss, CP Adegoke Fayoade for the immense support she has enjoyed since assuming office at the Ojodu police division in March 2024, CSP Elizabeth Opadola stated: ‘I thank the dogged crime buster and the sound leadership of the Lagos CP Adegoke Fayoade. I am overwhelmed with joy that you found out time out of your busy schedule to witness the commissioning of these projects.’

The federal legislator, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke restated his commitment to service delivery at the commissioning of some major projects at the Ojodu Police Division over the weekend. He said: ‘My own slogan personally is service to the people. Whatever I do to the community is in line with the responsibility bestowed on me as an elected official so I sincerely appreciate you for Ikeja and Ojodu in particular. This is a part of the success of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.’
