The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Shade Tinubu today inaugurated the Alternative High School for Girls in Bauchi State. The inauguration ceremony was hosted by the Governor of Bauchi state, Gov. Bala Mohammed while the wife of the Governor, Hajia Mohammed among other government functionaries were in attendance. This intervention is a part of the planned input of the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative to make lives better for Nigerians.

The Alternative High School for Girls is major step towards helping girls who dropped out of school for various reasons a second chance at education.
Before the inauguration ceremony, the First Lady paid an official visit to the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Adamu.
