
In fulfillment of the requirements of the law on driving on Nigerian roads, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Honorable Minister of Justice, Hon. Lateef Fagbemi SAN yesterday 8th July renewed his driver’s licence at the National Headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Abuja FCT. This is to reaffirm his commitment to the enthronement of rule of law and a demonstration of the age-old maxim of ‘practise what you preach’.
The FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed excited to receive the Attorney General of the Federation and Honourable Minister of Justice noted that it is statutory for everyone that you cannot drive on Nigerian roads without a valid Driver’s license noting that ‘This is the leadership that the Attorney-General has exemplified. Nobody is above the law.’
The Corps Marshal also used the opportunity to take AGF Lateef Fagbemi SAN around the Corps’ backend facilities that enhances the performance of the Corps. He further appreciated the AGF for believing in the system.
The Attorney-General commended Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed for introducing a more seamless biometric capture process, describing the entire process as meeting all international standards.
