ABIODUN OGUNSAN BECOMES NEW CEO, AKEM FOUNDATION

Mr. Abiodun Ogunsan, the immediate younger brother of Dr. Ayo Ogunsan is now the CEO of AKEM Foundation. He will steer the affairs of the charity organization for the next two years. TheMediaGood Newspaper can inform that the charity organization was established in memory of late Engr. Akinola and late Madam Emiola Ogunsan. This decision was made yesterday at AKEM FOUNDATION 2.0, the celebration of the second Anniversary of the establishment of the charity organization yesterday Saturday 27th April 2024 at Civic Center, Lagos.

The celebration also doubled as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the organization in which they gave a report of the successes achieved in 2023 while also granting new cheques to some NGOs and schools for the Year 2024.

It was also agreed that as the new CEO, Abiodun Ogunsan assumes office for the next two years, the administrative leadership will move on a rolling basis to the sister, Aduke and then the youngest sibling in the family, Folorunso.

It will be recalled that four (4) NGOs and schools were helped in the first year 2023. There is an improvement of another Eight (8) this year 2024. It was promised that there will be 16 next year.

The 2nd anniversary ceremony of AKEM Foundation was held at the Civic centre, Victoria Island in Lagos had in attendance the Assistant Inspector-General, AIG Community Policing, AIG Ari Mohammed Ali; AIG Sikiru Bankole (retd); Wife of the Lagos CP, Dr. Mrs. Adekemi Fayoade. Others are CP Ishola of Ports Authority; CP Ronke Okunade of General Investigation Alagbon; DC Operations, Lagos Command, DCP Fatai Tijani; DCP Olugbenga Adeoye; Commander MOPOL 2, ACP Ola Jide Agboola; Commander MOPOL 49, ACP Abubakar Yakubu; Commander MOPOL 20, ACP Bayo Suleiman; Commander, MOPOL 22, ACP Ibiye Braide; National Coordinator, POCACOV, CSP Olabisi Okuwobi; DPO Alausa, CSP Tokunbo Abaniwonda; DPO Ikeja, CSP Akinkunmi Oke. Yet others are the MD/CEO  of Lagos Bus Service, Mr Idowu Oguntona and his Wife; CEO of Badinson Security, Mr Matthew Ibadin; Vice Chancellor of Caleb University, Prof. Nosa; Pst and Pst Mrs. Ayeni; Pst Mrs. Oluwi, and Pst.
