The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has presented an operational vehicle to the Nigerian Immigration Service, Lagos State Command, strengthening the Command’s logistics and field operations across the state.
The vehicle was formally handed over by the LSSTF Director of Administration, Mr. Degbola Lewis, on behalf of the Fund’s Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, during a brief ceremony at the Fund’s HQ in Alausa.
Receiving the vehicle, the Comptroller of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Lagos State Command, CIS Christopher Olu Onajinrin, expressed appreciation for the intervention which will significantly enhance their operations.
He was accompanied by senior officers including O/C Protocol SI M.O. Nasiru, Protocol Officer SI A.O. Odofin, and the Command’s Public Relations Officer DSI A.O. Agboola, among others.
This donation comes barely a week after Comptroller Onajinrin paid a courtesy visit to the LSSTF, where he highlighted the Command’s operational challenges and appealed for mobility support to enhance border management, migrant monitoring, and rapid-response capability across Lagos.
