OGUNSAN UNVEILS MR. ADENIRAN ISRAEL AS HEAD OF LSSTF MONITORING TEAM, URGES CITIZEN’S SUPPORT

The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, has formally unveiled the leadership of the LSSTF Monitoring Team, calling on members of the public to support the initiative as a critical pillar for accountability, transparency, and effective resource management in Lagos State.

The unveiling, which took place today Tuesday 13th January 2026 had Mr. Adeniran Israel Samson presented as Head of the Field Operation Office of the LSSTF Monitoring Team. The event took place at the LSSTF HQ, Ikeja, Lagos, and marks another decisive step in Dr. Ogunsan’s ongoing reform agenda aimed at strengthening public confidence in the Fund.

During the unveiling ceremony, Dr. Ogunsan emphasized that the Monitoring Team was created to serve the public interest and must be supported by Lagosians in the discharge of its mandate.

“This Monitoring Team is not ceremonial,” he said, stressing that its responsibility is to ensure strict compliance, value for money, and the responsible use of all security assets donated by LSSTF.

Dr. Ogunsan urged citizens to cooperate with the team, describing public support as essential to sustaining accountability and translating donations into tangible security outcomes.

The Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh who was at the event highlighted the importance of tracking and monitoring efficient use of resources. He welcomed the introduction of the LSSTF Monitoring Team, describing it as a positive development for institutional discipline and operational effectiveness.

The CP noted that the LSSTF Monitoring Team will keep Police officers and officials of other sister agencies in check and track the proper deployment and use of security resources. The CP pledged his full support to the activities of the LSSTF Monitoring Team.
