
The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, today held a high-level strategic meeting with the management team of Compton Nigeria Support Services Limited at the LSSTF office in Ikeja Lagos.
The delegation from Compton Nigeria Support Services Limited included Mr. Tim Hepworth, the organization’s Managing Director, and Mr. Michael Ladipo who is the Director.
The visit forms part of ongoing engagements between the LSSTF and critical private-sector stakeholders whose contributions and expertise continue to bolster security operations across Lagos State.
During the meeting, Dr. Ogunsan reaffirmed the Fund’s commitment to strengthening multi-sector collaboration in tackling contemporary security challenges. He emphasized that the LSSTF was established to serve as a bridge between government security agencies and the private sector, ensuring that Lagos remains safe, secure, and conducive for socio-economic development.
According to him, ‘Security is a collective responsibility. Partnerships such as this create room for innovation, improved operational efficiency, and a more coordinated approach to safeguarding our state.’
In his remarks, Mr. Hepworth expressed appreciation for the Fund’s openness to collaboration and acknowledged the crucial role LSSTF plays in enabling effective policing and emergency response in Lagos. They highlighted their organization’s readiness to support the Fund through technology-driven solutions and logistical support aimed at improving the performance of frontline security operatives.
The courtesy visit underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in sustaining Lagos State’s security architecture and reflects LSSTF’s proactive approach to working with reputable organizations to ensure the protection of lives, property, and critical infrastructure.
